Project 1: StarCharge Headquarters Smart Microgrid – Changzhou, China

BlazeTerra, in collaboration with StarCharge, deployed a high-efficiency smart microgrid system at the StarCharge Headquarters in Changzhou.

  • Installed solar capacity: ~1,161.54 kW
  • Estimated daily solar generation: ~3,200 kWh
  • Energy storage configuration: 10 × eBox-215 distributed storage cabinets
  • Total storage capacity: 1,000 kW / 2,150 kWh

This system utilizes onsite land to host a dedicated energy storage station. Based on the facility's daily load profile and peak demand analysis, the storage system is optimized for energy balancing, peak shaving, and backup power.

Impact:

  • Annual green power production: ~1.17 million kWh
  • First-year carbon reduction: ~1,047.4 tons CO₂
  • 25-year cumulative carbon reduction: ~24,000 tons CO₂
  • Estimated annual electricity savings: ~₦170 million (≈¥1.7M)

Project 2: Fengxiang Technology Park Smart Microgrid – Changzhou, China

Located in the Wujin National Hi-Tech District, the 232-acre Fengxiang Technology Park is a major industrial park with an annual energy consumption of ~20 million kWh.

To meet the park's demand for reliable, flexible, and low-carbon power, BlazeTerra and StarCharge deployed:

  • 32 × eBox-215 commercial energy storage systems
  • Total capacity: 3.2 MW / 6.88 MWh
  • Average daily energy throughput: ~13,700 kWh

The system enables dynamic peak shaving, green energy integration, flexible capacity expansion, and participation in demand-side response services through a virtual power plant (VPP) model. It also strengthens resilience against power restrictions during peak load periods.
